My name is Vi Garvin. In June 2003 I was diagnosed as being legally blind with 20/200 vision due to Macular Degeneration. Since than my vision has been slowly deteriorated more and now it is 20/2400. For some time I have wanted to paint with oils , so In December 2003 at the age of 77, I decided I would try my hand at painting with oils. I bought some paint, brushes and canvas and started to paint. I have painted many painting since than. , Much to my surprise I have sold numerous painting so I have decided to put some on our web site.
